A stereoscopic image is composed of
a right perspective and a left perspective image. In order to see a stereoscopic
image, you must be able to view both of these perspective images simultaneously.
When you finally see the depth information you have FUSED the images. There are several methods which can be used to view stereoscopic images on a PC or web page. The most common methods are:
· Parallel view method · Anaglyph method · Page flipped methods with Shutter Glasses. · Line Alternate methods for Shutter Glasses and head mounted displays · Squished Side by Side method for lenticular displays · Other Techniques VRex released a web plug-in called DepthCharge which supports the first six viewing methods listed above. 3Dexpo requires this DepthCharge plug-in in order to view the 3D stereoscopic gallery images.
