Image Title:   Sojourner's favorite rocks - in 3D Original Caption Released with Image: Many prominent rocks near the Sagan Memorial Station are featured in this image, taken in stereo by the Imager for Mars Pathfinder (IMP) on Sol 3. 3D glasses are necessary to id entify surface detail. Wedge is at lower left; Shark, Half-Dome, and Pumpkin are at center. F lat Top, about four inches high, and Little Flat Top are at center. The "Twin Peaks" in the distance are one to two kilometers away. Curvature in the image is due to parallax. Mars Pathfinder was developed and managed by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The IMP was developed by the Un iversity of Arizona Lunar and Planetary Laboratory under contract to JPL. Peter Smith is th e Principal Investigator.
